This pole in Nebrasksa was 80 feet in the air and I had to turn around once I had climbed it. I missed the bar (and lived).

Camp Cho-Yeh (PUSA) in the mid/early 1990s.
We called it the "pamper pole" for reasons I do not know to this day.
I too had to turn around once atop the pole.
Leapt out.
Didn't miss.
