B Good question. Unfortunately, that is not right, although it is a happy coincidence. However, the real genesis of the Tookies is this -- there is a Calvin and Hobbes where Calvin talks to Susy (is that her name?) and she starts to call him Pootie Pie. He about throws up. Julie and I adopted that as our making-fun-of-pet-names pet name. But it morphed through the years - Pootie Pie -> Pootie -> Pookie -> Tookie. There you have it. The Tooks.
